Does the customer need to download anything?
No. The tip page opens in the browser that's already on their phone the moment they tap. There's no app, no account and no signup — they choose an amount and pay with the card or wallet they already have set up.
Does the tip point need power or wi-fi?
No. The tile, stand and card are all passive — there's no battery to charge and nothing to plug in. The customer's own phone does the work, so the tip point just sits there and keeps working.
Do we need a card machine or a POS integration?
No. Nodra sits completely separate from your till, which is the point — the tip doesn't get tangled up in the sale, and it doesn't land in the business account unless you want it to.
How does the money actually reach us?
Payments and payouts run through Stripe. During setup you connect the bank account each tip point pays out to — an individual's account for "pick your person", or the venue's for a shared pool. Card details never touch Nodra.
What happens when someone joins or leaves the team?
You add or remove them, and the tip point updates. Nothing on the counter changes and nothing needs reprinting — the same tile just shows a different list of names next time someone taps it.
Can a customer tip whatever they want?
Yes. You set the presets that show up first — most places pick three amounts that suit their average sale — and there's always an option to enter a different number.
What if a phone doesn't support tapping?
Every tip point also carries a printed code as a fallback, so an older phone can still get to the same page with the camera. Nobody gets stuck at the counter.
Do you install outside Perth?
We install in person across the Perth metro area. Anywhere else in Australia we ship the tip points to you and walk through the setup on a call — it's a short job either way.
